How to download all photos from an Instagram profile

To download all Instagram photos from a profile, type the username here and use Download all: it collects the account's posts, reels, stories and highlights and saves them as one ZIP file. That replaces opening every post and saving pictures one at a time. Inside the ZIP, files sit in stories, highlights, posts and reels folders, with each highlight in a folder of its own.

The ZIP is built right on your phone or computer, not on our server, and nothing is compressed again, so every photo and video keeps its original quality. Carousels stay together: each slide gets the post's code plus a number. Large profiles take a minute. If the Instagram bulk downloader pauses to stay within limits, it counts down a few seconds and carries on by itself.

What's in the ZIP

  • One file named after the account, sorted into stories, highlights, posts and reels
  • The latest 12, 36 or 60 posts, and the same number of reels
  • Every live story and every highlight album
  • Photos as JPG and videos as MP4, in original quality
  • A count of files saved, and of any Instagram no longer serves

Why download entire Instagram profiles

  • 01

    Back up your own profile

Keep a copy of your public posts, reels and highlights off Instagram, sorted and ready to move to a new phone or drive.

  • 02

    Hand over a client's content

Agencies and social media managers gather a brand's recent posts and reels into one file for audits, decks and redesigns.

  • 03

    Archive a campaign or event

Save everything an event, campaign or community account posted in one go, before it's edited or taken down.

Good to know

  • Posts and reels go up to the latest 60 each. For older posts, open them one by one from the Posts tab with Load more.
  • Files Instagram has removed or expired are skipped and counted in the summary; the rest of the ZIP still saves.
  • Public accounts only. A private profile can't be downloaded, in bulk or one post at a time.

FAQ

Bulk download: your questions

Type the username above and the Download all window opens. Tick posts and anything else you want, choose how many, and tap Download up to N files. Everything arrives as one ZIP file.

Up to the latest 60 posts and 60 reels per download, plus every live story and every highlight. Pick 12 or 36 instead to keep the file smaller and the download quicker.

Yes. It's one ZIP named after the account, like natgeo_instagram.zip. On iPhone, tap it in the Files app to unzip; on Android, Windows and Mac it opens with a tap or a double-click.

No. It runs right on this page in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox, on a phone or a computer. There's nothing to install, no extension permissions to grant and no Instagram login.

To stay inside the request limits that keep the service fast for everyone. The window counts down a few seconds, then continues on its own. You don't need to do anything.

No. It counts as 1 lookup, because it's one account. Opening that same account's stories, posts or reels again on the same day costs nothing extra either.

No. For a private account the Download all button doesn't appear, and no posts, stories or highlights are fetched. Private stays private, and we don't get around it.
